Yeah! Electrostatic Loudspeaker Kits
September 13th, 2007I recently came across a very exciting website in cyberspace. A couple of guys in Germany are offering electrostatic loudspeaker kits for very reasonable prices.
Quality looks pretty amazing if you ask me. But the best part is yet to come: all of the speaker kits come with active crossovers and digital amplifiers. This means you only need a preamp or variable output of your CD player to instantly reach electrostatic nirvana.
With prizes starting just above 1000 Euros (a pair!), this might be your ticket if you love the sound of Martin Logan or Quad panels. Fortunately their kits are partially assembled so you can’t mess up the panels too easily. By the way, I just downloaded their kit building instructions for their ‘Calipro’ model. Shouldn’t be too hard to build for even a novice.
